In 2011, the Noles' backfield burner suffered a broken back against Wake Forest that nearly ended his career. A year later, he made the Deacons pay, rushing for 197 yards on only nine carries in FSU's 52-0 win. Thompson's two first-half touchdown runs came on back-to-back carries and covered 74 and 80 yards, respectively.

Manziel wasn't able to close the deal last week against Florida, but he took out his frustrations on SMU in a 48-3 win, passing for 294 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

The Gators just might have found themselves a quarterback. Driskel led a suddenly explosive Florida offense to the game's final 24 points in a 37-20 win at Tennessee, tossing two second-half TD?passes covering 23 and 75 yards. For the game, Driskel was 14-of-20 passing for 219 yards and added 81 important yards on the ground.
